He will make threats and identify family members, and have his minions doxx judges who offend him, all in the hope one of his MAGA goons will engage in violence against his critics or guardrails. It's exactly what he did on 6 Jan 2021 to get his goobers to attack the Capitol. He knows how to manipulate his ignorant cult.

But then the article also points out that Trump considers the judge to be "crooked" and also mentions one reason he was elected was to fight illegal immigration and the judge is interfering.

 

Engaging in a power struggle with a judge doesn't mean it's a step towards an evil dictatorship or the complete breakdown of democracy. He genuinely believes that he's doing something positive so he's getting a bit rough around the edges to get what he wants. He's unorthodox. He's passionate about going after what he wants. Maybe even plays a little dirty.

 

But that doesn't mean it's heading toward a path of evil dictatorship.

 

Maybe the judge is an ahole or on the wrong side of the fence.

Have to wonder where was the outrage from the left when Schumer was calling for violence against the Supreme court judge? When AOC falsely and without evidence accused Kavanaugh of "running train" (gang SA) on a women after doing a beer bong?

Why do the left support some calls to violence against judges, yet reach for the fainting couch when the opposition does a much less serious thing? And Trump did this to keep Americans safe from vile gangbangers the democrats welcomed across their open border.

No surprise democrat approval is barely 20% they are just so wrong about everything. Bring back logic. Stop hypocrisy. Ratchet back the hate and rage. Save your party.

On Monday, the American Bar Association issued a statement denouncing the ongoing wave of verbal assaults and threats against judges.

The Federal Judges Association said on Tuesday that “continued violence, intimidation and defiance directed at judges simply because they are fulfilling their sworn judicial duties” risked “the collapse of the rule of law.”

It seems like Trump's followers are threatening the judges? I don't agree with that. These people should shut up. A lot of Trump's followers might be nuts, but that doesn't mean Trump is completely nuts and everything he is doing is completely nuts. He deported dangerous criminals.

Just to follow up. This is what the article claims. That Trump's followers are threatening judges.

But how do I know this journalist is not making this up to slander Trump?

There's no proof of this claim that judges are being threatened with violence. 

 

Since the end of January, Musk has blasted judges in more than 30 posts on his social media site X, calling them “corrupt”, “radical”, “evil” and deriding the “TYRANNY of the JUDICIARY” after judges blocked parts of the federal downsizing he has led.

As a result, there has been a rise in violent threats against judges across the United States. Judges are expressing mounting alarm over their physical safety. Several judges describe phone calls promising personal harm to them and their families.

Chief Justice Roberts rebukes Trump and GOP rhetoric about impeaching judges

Chief Justice John Roberts pushed back on President Donald Trump’s escalating rhetoric against the federal judiciary on Tuesday in a highly unusual statement that appeared to be aimed at the president’s call to impeach judges who rule against him.

For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,” Roberts said in a statement released by the Supreme Court. “The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

Roberts’ statement did not mention Trump by name, but it came hours after the president stepped up his attacks on federal judges by specifically calling for US District Judge James Boasberg, who has temporarily blocked the deportations of alleged Venezuelan gang members, to be impeached.

Several Trump allies, including Elon Musk, have been calling for weeks to impeach judges amid a slew of preliminary rulings against the Trump administration. Yeah, he's blunt and abrasive ...

But what's the background on the judge? Why does Trump accuse him of being crooked? And why is he trying to block Trump? If many average people hate Trump, then maybe the same goes for some judges who might be trying to block him just because they hate him, not because the decision is the best one for the country.

Charged with treason, convicted and shot would be more appropriate.

I assume treason is still a capital offence in the USA?

Trump seeks revenge.

'We have a lot of law firms that we’re going to be going after,' Trump said recently on Fox News. 

A recent Trump order stripped New York-based firm Paul Weiss employees of security clearances, access to federal buildings, and possibly government contracts. According to the piece, Trump holds a grudge against former Paul Weiss attorney Mark Pomerantz, who left the firm in 2012, and another partner who worked on a case against Jan. 6 Capitol rioters.

"Just because Trump campaigned on revenge against his political opponents doesn’t make it legally permissible," the Board of The Washington Post wrote.
