Bangkok Bank/Statement

I understand branches work differently, but just made a withdrawal from ATM, then updated my bank book straight away which was fine, transaction showed. Went into bank and asked for statement and asked if transaction would be on it, they said no, statements would only show transactions up to yesterday, so have to return in the morning.

 

First time i've experienced this, is there some sort of cut off time or new rule for transactions to be able to appear on same day statements?

I think they all work the same. Statements never include same day transactions. If you need to show same day transactions simply update your bank book.

Thanks for the reply. The complete opposite of what the website says!. Bank book has been updated, its the transaction on the statement I need. No big drama, the lady said when I return in the morning the transaction will be on the statement. I was just wondering if it was the norm, or something had changed as when I get my paperwork for my visa, i make a transaction via atm, update bank book then go inside bank and the transaction is on the statement, so something must have changed or there's a cut off time.
