Just want to share my experience

I'm back to thailand after i stayed out of the country for almost 7 months. I have applied for a SETV in my country which it has been approved in less than 24 hours. When I went trought the passport control at the immigration at bangkok airport, I gave my passport and my printed TDAC to the officer. He looked at my passport pages and he asked me a few questions, what are you doing here and for how long are you going to stay here. After I answered right he stamped me in. Everything easy, no issues. This is my 6th tourist visa by the way 😉. I come to thailand since 2017 and i have had different types of visas during these years

As i am still far away  to reach 50 years old i am considering to apply for 5 years DTV next time, as i already have the necessary funds requirement

Ok, but so what? Isn't that how it should work?

It doesn't work for everyone. Many are getting denied 😦

Good on you for coming back. I need to travel to America anywhere from 2 to 5 times a year for business and family stuff, and it is always a celebratory event to get on that plane and head back to Thailand.

I travel back and forth between UK and Thailand 3-4 times a year. Nothing like knowing that having the right visa/extension will ensure a smooth re-entry to Thailand. Many here are swinging it by using visa exempt entrys and tourist visas for long stays which bring uncertainty and questioning, and in rare cases, refusal of entry. Simple answer, get the right visa.

I often come back to Thailand with a tourist visa, then I extend it and then I use to do a few border bounce re-enter exempt. I've never had any type of issues, even when I stay longer. And there is the safe entry service by the way, so no problem
