Any tips on agencies offering 1 year visas when you aren't 50+

Featured Replies

... or having family here, etc? So you can get +1 year without traveling abroad

DTV. Get 500k baht in your bank, sign up for a cooking class and get 5 years. I'd move on this quick before they cancel this visa category.

What kind of family?

Are you talking about those old one year Non O visas issued on basis of visiting friends and family? They were scrapped about 14 years ago.

OP, you mention being 50+.

Also visa valid for 12 months

That's a Multiple entry Non O visa and it's no longer available.

You also mention family.

The one year Multiple for family is also not available.

You been to clarify what you are asking about.

He says that he's not over 50, and doesn't have any family here. And he wants to stay one year without having to travel abroad.

@OP DTV is an option if you meets the criteria, although you'd have to go through the extension process at an immigration office in-country which may not be easy. Other than that an ED visa for studying Thai is probably the only option. Enquire at local language schools in your area.

Ta. My mistake. Read too quickly. Will delete post.

Yes, the DTV would be an option.

There are few agents offering package to Savannakhet and also to Cambodia.

Not cheap.
