As for elections - think BKK is only place that I've seen it enforced.. good fun having a juice or coke at Big Dogs. Last year the need to close bars on the Queens birthday was lifted (for Pattaya anyway), and there is no change this year. Also the BKK Post reported a couple of days ago that the bars can stay open on referendum day (19th Aug), as the Election Rules didn't apply to a referendum. So keep drinking, guys!
