Link the source on Hamas making the hostages dig their own grave or it's heresay or fabricated.

Yep, these are what your "freedom fighters" have been up to.

A man wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity, with international warrants out for such, that has blocked food and aid going to millions of starving civilians, is setting up his army of thousands of war criminals to commit another bloodbath.

Is it the year 2025 or 1025. 🙂

The war criminal jews, every Jew that is ordering, assisting, aiding and abetting starvation, looting and wanton destruction of property is guilty of war crimes under international law, are starting to deserve the gallows. The entire IDF? 🙂

Should be reworded to "Netanyahu pushes to have the military to invoke the Hannibal Directive and eliminate the rest of the hostages then blame it on Hamas."  Bibi is a political animal and he wants to shut up those Israelis who and a throne in his side with the constant protests to "Bring the hostages home."  By that, most of the protesters mean, "Negotiate with Hamas and find equitable solution for Israelis and Palestinians alike."  What they'll get are dead hostages one way or another.  Eliminate the hostages and Netanyahu protest problems goes away and then he can go full scorched-earth on what remains of Gaza.

Netanyahu to propose full reoccupation of Gaza, Israeli media report

Netanyahu's plan reportedly faces opposition from military chiefs
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to propose fully reoccupying the Gaza Strip when he meets his security cabinet, Israeli media say.

"The die has been cast. We're going for the full conquest of the Gaza Strip – and defeating Hamas," local journalists quote a senior official as saying.

Responding to reports that the army chief and other military leaders oppose the plan, the unnamed official said: "If that doesn't work for the chief of staff, he should resign."

The families of hostages fear such plans could endanger their loved ones, with 20 out of 50 believed to be alive in Gaza, while polls suggest three in four Israelis instead favour a ceasefire deal to return them.

Many of Israel's close allies would also condemn such a move as they push for an end to the war and action to alleviate a humanitarian crisis.

Within Israel, hundreds of retired Israeli security officials, including former heads of intelligence agencies, issued a joint letter to US President Donald Trump on Monday, calling for him to pressure Netanyahu to end the war.

One of the signatories, ex-domestic intelligence agency chief Ami Ayalon, told the BBC that further military action would be futile.

"From the military point of view, [Hamas] is totally destroyed. On the other hand, as an ideology it is getting more and more power among the Palestinian people, within the Arab street around us, and also in the world of Islam.

Straight from the Israeli PM Netanyahu.

Israel have exact calculations of how many calories of food are needed, and are purposefully undersupplying the population to cause starvation. 🙂

The mathematics of famine are simple in Gaza. Palestinians cannot leave, war has ended farming and Israel has banned fishing, so practically every calorie its population eats must be brought in from outside.

Cogat, the Israeli agency that still controls aid shipments to Gaza, calculated then that Palestinians needed an average minimum 2,279 calories per person per day, which could be provided through 1.836kg of food.

Today, humanitarian organisations are asking for an even smaller minimum ration: 62,000 metric tonnes of dry and canned food to meet basic needs for 2.1 million people each month, or around 1kg of food per person per day.

Official figures released by Israel showing controlled, calculated, systematic mass starvation of civilians. 🙂

Some people are naive.

What was factually incorrect. Yes, the video was footage published in an Israeli newspaper. It is unlikely that it was a Pallywood production.

So nice to see that you recently joined Asean Now to bombard us with  wonderful claims  such as war criminal jews. Seriously, you are  betraying your bias with that phrasing.  The Arab world finds it fascinating that while Hamas is now repudiated by almost all of the  Arab world, it remains popular in western countries.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly advocating for a military solution to rescue hostages held by Hamas. According to an Israeli source, diplomatic efforts have stalled, prompting Netanyahu to consider expanding military operations in Gaza. Approximately 20 hostages remain captive since the attack by Hamas on 7th October 2023.

Israeli and US officials have maintained ongoing discussions, but hopes for a diplomatic resolution seem to be fading. The Israeli source revealed that Netanyahu believes Hamas is not interested in negotiating for the hostages' release. Consequently, a military approach is being prioritised.

In Tel Aviv, thousands have taken to the streets urging the government to act swiftly to ensure the hostages’ safe return. Emotions ran high with family members, like Ilay David, stating their loved ones’ lives hang in the balance. A video released by Hamas showed a visibly frail Evyatar David, highlighting the gravity of the situation, reported ABC News.

Tensions escalated following the visit of US officials, including Steve Witcoff, President Trump's Middle East envoy, who met with affected families. Their visit coincides with growing global concerns about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where famine looms and malnutrition claims lives.

The Hamas-run health ministry reports that starvation in Gaza has caused at least 175 deaths, including 93 children. Despite Israel’s assertions about sufficient aid provision, international organisations and the UN dispute this, citing ongoing malnutrition.

The Israeli source mentioned humanitarian aid continues to reach non-combat zones of Gaza. However, areas under Hamas control remain challenging. The international community watches closely as this complex humanitarian and security crisis unfolds, with calls for an immediate and sustainable resolution echoing worldwide.

Absolute savages.

Starmer's promises haven't helped either. He's turning out to be even worse than Blair.

Be honest, the conflict has never been about the hostages. If it were, they would have been released long ago.

Non-combat zones - are these controlled by Israel or Fatah? And, if Fatah are fighting with Hamas, maybe they know where the hostages (or bodies) are. Enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that.

Time to round up clan leaders and start "asking" what they know. Just in case some folks don't know:

"Fatah al-Islam (Arabic: فتح الإسلام) is a Sunni Islamist militant group established in November 2006 in a Palestinian refugee camp, located in Lebanon. It has been described as a militant jihadist movement that draws inspiration from al-Qaeda"

And they're pissed because: Regarding governance, there's a complex and contested situation:

Hamas: Since 2007, the Gaza Strip has been de facto administered by Hamas, a Palestinian militant and political organization that won the 2006 legislative elections there.

Maybe: a 7hr round-trip flight, a mushroom cloud and home in time for a beer and Sunday Night Football would put the jihadists to sleep permanently. :stoner:

Wars should be won by decisive strikes at the beginning, not 2, or 5 or 10yrs down the line. You'd kill the same amount of people (maybe) but it would be over. Go Bibi! 🤠

You're mistaken about what Hamas and Fatah actually are - and frankly, rather sick if you're calling for nuclear genocide.

Conflating Hamas - a Palestinian political and militant group based in Gaza - with Fatah al-Islam - a jihadist group based in Lebanon - reveals a gross misunderstanding of the situation. It’s like confusing Sinn Fein with Al-Qaeda because both have political aims. That destroys any credibility and shows you have no understanding of the factions involved, their ideologies, and goals.

As for your "mushroom cloud and home in time for a beer" comment - it's one of the most appalling things I’ve read. You’re casually fantasizing about nuclear genocide. That would mean the death of millions of civilians - men, women, children - followed by regional collapse, global fallout, and generational suffering.

Israeli military chief opposes Gaza war expansion, raising pressure on Netanyahu

During a tense, three-hour meeting on Tuesday, Eyal Zamir, the military chief of staff, warned the prime minister that taking the rest of Gaza could trap the military in the territory, which it withdrew from two decades ago, and could lead to harm to the hostages being held there, the sources briefed on the meeting said.

The Israeli military says it already controls 75% of Gaza after nearly two years of war, which began when militant group Hamas attacked southern Israeli communities in October 2023. It has repeatedly opposed imposing military rule, annexing the territory, and rebuilding Jewish settlements there - policies advocated by some government members.

The military, which accuses Hamas of operating amongst civilians, has at times avoided areas where intelligence suggested hostages were held and former captives have said their captors threatened to kill them if Israeli forces approached.

What, were you in the french army or something? Americans were wearing this 'Motto' on T-shirts for years. Along with "The Ayatollah is an Assahola". Some of us had T-shirts made that said "I got my tan of the coast of Iran" in the face of their death threats. We also wore T-shirts that said: "American ends with ICAN not IRAN".

You reply like a very youthful bleeding heart or a senior with selective memory. Radical Islam must die. Period. :wai:

Ah, nothing says “measured geopolitical insight” like quoting novelty T-shirts from the 1980s. I suppose next you’ll argue for drone strikes using bumper stickers: “Nuke 'em till they glow, then shoot 'em in the dark.”

And calling for the death of "Radical Islam" as if it's a video game boss you can just delete with a cheat code? That’s not strategy, that’s pub-level bravado dressed up as policy. You’re not defending civilization; you're auditioning for a Fox News segment from 2003.

You’re mistaking moral clarity for moral bankruptcy and if scorched-earth fantasies are your idea of patriotism, then I’d hate to see what you wear on casual Fridays.🤪

No, we wrote that on the bombs before they were delivered but I like your drone idea. It's quite modern.

In my youth you wouldn't have wanted to meet me in battle unless we were going the same way. :wai:

Not sure where you're from but when somebody says they want to kill me while waving guns in the air I believe them, I don't investigate and form a committee.

Never been political or a politician or apparently politically correct. My "P" word is practical. When bad people die the world improves.

Funny how people like you want everyone to talk sh!t out, kiss and make-up but when it comes time to place these terrorists in a home you're nowhere to be found. Then they get place and here you are again bitching about why they didn't get more for being a "Reformed Terrorist".

When you (and the rest of the bleeding hearts) show-up with a spare set of keys to YOUR house and the spare bedroom made up i MIGHT start listening to your opinion. :coffee1:
