Didn't read link for 2 reason, it's NY Times, and need to register.   From headliner, inflation doom & gloom, which is actually a good think for expats.  Will counter any minor exchange rate drop.

 

Think Biden, when we got 5+% COLA on average during his administration.  A 20+% jump in our income, which doesn't fluctuate back down with exchange rates.

 

So please, 'inflate away', and repeat the last 4 years ... PLEASE

You might want to take off those rose-colored glasses and wake up to reality.  America has going down the tube since January in so many ways.  Sad but true.

I don't live in the Americas, or the USA.   So I really don't care.  As stated, what's bad for the USA, is good for the expats in TH.  That's our reality.

 

My glasses are fine, as I see and live in the real world.  Not your paranoid, doom & gloom fantasy world.

 

OP mentioning exchange rate, which will always fluctuate 10% either side of 32.5 / $1 USD, to affect expats, but headline points out inflation in the USA, which is a good thing for expats.   Always going up, and never back down.

 

Since 2006, the exchange rate has fluctuated 10% up or down from 32.5 / $1 USD.  Anything more that 10%, has been a positive for expats, ex: Biden, hitting 38 👍
