I was in a small, atmospheric bar called "Extra Time" down in the Patpong area. Two Sunderland fans, a mad Crystal Palace fan who was in some way related to Harry Hill and a couple of Newcastle lads who enjoyed Michael Chopra scoring for Sunderland in the dying moments of the game ...

Did we deserve it? Will we stay up? Who cares ...

Yeah, what a great build up, half time talk and after match summary / interviews etc....

I actually changed my flight back to Singapore to Sunday so I could watch it with a Spurs pal.

Great fun as he had to ride an elephant as loser of our bet ;-)

Even the Newcastle fan with us was happy when Chopra scored - never thought I would see the day.
