spot
It's impossible to pick a favorite from a pile of non-inventive, creatively empty, insipid rubbish. Mostly musically borrowed from the same non-inventive, creatively empty, insipid rubbish vomited out on mainstream radio in the west. Thai language just doesn't sound good with Western style music anyway. Some of the Issan folky music sounds good.

I never paid much attention to 'Silly Fools' but I've just had a listen to the two you mentioned and they are good. Thai folk is ok as is their country music (ok) but their pop music is just the pits. How so many artists (!) can make it on the radio whilst singing out of key is beyond me. steffi
When I first came to Thailand I enjoyed the unique sound of Au's music. Think the album was called By Heart. Back then Nicole was the most popular (2000) now it's just proliferated into garbage including many of the boy band rubbish and some cute girl who they always play at MBK. Noticed that P'Bird was lip syncing most of this years concert so I think he's past it already but I'm sure hel_l be filling stadiums next year and years to come. simply red who were fascinated to hear the Thai music casettes I had in my car Explains alot.
