Ukrainian border guards destroyed Russian equipment worth $28 million overnight in the Huliaipole direction, with a rare Zoopark radar system among the targets, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

According to the border guards, on the night of April 4–5 in the Zaporizhzhia direction, pilots from the Phoenix unit located and struck three multiple launch rocket systems, destroying two Grads and one Uragan.

In addition to the rocket artillery, the Border Guard aces eliminated the high-value Zoopark radar system. The total value of the destroyed equipment is estimated at around $28 million.

Why this target stands out

The destruction of the Zoopark radar system is a major success for Ukrainian defense forces, as this equipment is extremely rare among Russians.

Ukrainian forces push back Russians in Kharkiv region

According to Deep State, Ukrainian troops advanced more than 3 km toward the state border and regained control of the forest area north of the village of Ambarne in the Velykyi Burluk community in the Kupiansk district.

Units of the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade carried out a successful operation to eliminate the Russian troops in the forests near Ambarne and clear the area.

Ukrainian defenders also managed to halt the Russian advance from the village of Milove toward the village of Khatnie in the Ambarne area.

Russia loses four aircraft in mere days

The incidents span crashes, a reported Ukrainian strike and a possible friendly fire case.

On March 31 a Russian An-26 military transport aircraft crashed in mountainous terrain in occupied Crimea, killing all 29 people on board, including a senior general, according to TVP World.

Separate reports from that same day indicated a Su-34 fighter-bomber was also lost. The Fighter-bomber Telegram channel, run by a former Russian pilot and followed by military analysts, said the aircraft went down in unclear circumstances. No location was given, but the pilot is believed to have died.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said, writes Digi24, that a Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet crashed during a routine training flight over Crimea, whilst on March 20, a small civilian aircraft crashed near Moscow.

Digi24 reported that early indications suggest it may have been mistakenly shot down by Russian air defenses after being misidentified as a drone.

Ukrainian defenders struck the oil terminal at the port of Ust-Luga, located on the Baltic Sea, again on the night of April 7, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the Ukrainian military, three storage tanks belonging to Transneft-Baltika were damaged in the attack.

The oil terminal at the port of Ust-Luga is a key element for Russia’s oil exports.

Attacks on Ust-Luga continue - Ukraine's General Staff confirms new strikes

Ukrainian forces are operating in western Libya under a covert deal endorsed by the West, and they used the Northern African country's territory to strike a Russian tanker in the Mediterranean last month, two Libyan officials said Tuesday.

The Russian-flagged Arctic Metagaz, carrying 61,000 tons of liquefied natural gas, was badly damaged in a suspected sea drone attack near Maltese waters early in March. It has since drifted off Libya. All 30 crew members were rescued and put on another vessel heading to the Libyan city of Benghazi, the Libyan Maritime Authority said.

The tanker is part of Russia’s so-called shadow fleet transporting oil in violation of international sanctions over Moscow’s more than 4-year-old invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s drone defences smash record — but jet-powered Shaheds raise new threat

download (4).jpg

Ukraine has doubled the effectiveness of its interceptor drones, destroying more than 33,000 enemy unmanned aircraft in March alone — a record that underscores both the success and the escalating stakes of the air war.

But officials warn the battlefield is shifting again. Faster, jet-powered variants of the Iranian-designed Shahed drone are now emerging as the next challenge, forcing Kyiv to accelerate a technological arms race in the skies.

Record Month Signals Drone War Turning Point

According to Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s interceptor drones shot down more than 33,000 Russian UAVs in March — twice the number destroyed the previous month.

The tally includes a wide range of surveillance and attack drones such as Gerbera, Molniya, Zala and Orlan models. Officials say the surge reflects the rapid expansion of Ukraine’s home-grown interceptor drone network, now a central pillar of national air defence.

“Interceptor drones are a Ukrainian innovation that has already become a key part of protecting our skies,” Fedorov said.

Russia Raises the Stakes With Faster Shaheds

Even as interception numbers surge, the threat is evolving. Russia has begun deploying jet-powered Shahed drones capable of reaching speeds of 400–500 km/h, dramatically increasing the difficulty of interception.

The new drones also fly at extremely low altitudes, reducing radar detection and forcing Ukrainian forces to rely on faster reaction times and smarter targeting systems.

Officials say Moscow has also increased the use of “swarm” tactics, launching multiple drones simultaneously to overwhelm defences.

Kyiv Accelerates a High-Tech Counteroffensive

In response, Ukraine is pushing hard to scale the next generation of interceptor technology.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered accelerated procurement planning through 2026, alongside expanded pilot training and additional testing ranges for new systems.

Through the government-backed Brave1 defence innovation programme, dozens of companies are already developing new interceptor models, with EU-backed grants supporting high-speed drones capable of exceeding 450 km/h.

AI and Industry Mobilised for the Next Phase

More than 100 Ukrainian manufacturers are now working on interceptor drones, supported by over 40 state grants since 2024.

A new platform known as Brave1 Dataroom is also training artificial intelligence models to identify and intercept aerial threats in poor weather and low-visibility conditions.

For Kyiv, the message is clear: the drone war is accelerating. Victory in the skies will depend not just on numbers — but on speed, software and the ability to out-innovate a rapidly adapting enemy.

At least two tanks are ablaze at the Marine Oil Terminal in occupied Feodosia after a successful Ukrainian drone strike, according to Schemes (Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty) and the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi.

According to the outlet, Planet Labs satellite images from April 8 captured plumes of smoke and flames at the site of a key fuel facility in Crimea.

As of 12:00, the large fire was still ongoing. Analysis of the images suggests that tanks that had survived previous strikes by Ukraine’s Defense Forces are now burning.

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi (callsign "Madyar") confirmed the successful operation.

The Russian joint-stock company Kronstadt, one of the key manufacturers of military drones, including the Orion, is on the brink of bankruptcy.

This was reported by The Moscow Times, citing CNews.

This situation is attributed to losses and debts resulting from international sanctions and expensive loans.

In late March, SKB Elektronnogo Priborostroeniya LLC filed a lawsuit to declare the company bankrupt due to its failure to comply with a court order to collect a debt.

As of the end of 2025, the losses of the company’s owner — DK Kronstadt LLC — amounted to 4.6 billion rubles.

Simple as that. In Russia if you corrupted or nazi you get jailed. In Ukraine if you corrupted nazi you have a lot of powerful friends, yahts, golden toilets, mountains of cocaine and you can steal as much as you want without consequences. Because everflowing stream of money is continously coming from other countries taxes. In case of any problem you allowed to flee this rotten land and go Israel. Then remotely control everything sitting in the comfy chair with a bottle of Don Perignon, spread more warmongering propaganda and send more poor ukrainians to meet their end in the batllefield. Look banderites posting here - if something is burning/exploding/collapsing/someone die they're so happy posting all this antihuman ukrainian "successes". Souless people always wanna fight and kill - always by the hands of others gaining more profits from it.

Ukraine has pushed the war far beyond the front line, striking Russian energy infrastructure nearly 1,000km away in a high-risk, long-range operation. The targets: offshore drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea, now ablaze after precision night strikes.

Kyiv says the operation is part of a widening campaign to choke Russia’s war machine at its source — fuel.

Offshore Platforms Engulfed

According to Ukraine’s military, two key installations were hit: the LSP-2 platform at the V. Grayfer field and LSP-1 at the Yuriy Korchagin field.

These ice-resistant rigs sit in the northern Caspian, far from active combat zones but central to Russia’s fuel and oil supply chain. Early reports indicate significant damage, with fires breaking out across both structures.

War Expands Beyond the Battlefield

The distance matters. Striking so deep into Russian-controlled infrastructure marks a sharp escalation in capability and intent.

Ukrainian commanders have made clear the goal: degrade Russia’s “military-economic potential”. Fuel, not just firepower, is now a frontline target.

Oil Lifelines Under Sustained Attack

This is no isolated strike. In recent days, Ukraine has hit a pumping station in Krymsk and a refinery in Ufa — both critical nodes in Russia’s energy network.

Previous drone raids have also targeted Caspian platforms, including assets linked to major producers. The pattern is consistent: extend reach, disrupt supply, raise costs.

Pressure Builds on Moscow’s War Machine

The impact is cumulative. Every disrupted shipment, every damaged facility tightens the squeeze on logistics sustaining Russian forces.

For Moscow, the vulnerability is now exposed — not just along contested borders, but deep within its energy infrastructure

No Safe Distance Anymore

Ukraine is signalling there is no rear area beyond reach. Strategic assets once considered secure are now within striking distance.

As the campaign intensifies, the war is no longer defined by trenches alone — but by how far each side can project force, and how much damage it can absorb.

My hostility towards this country (more towards system this country is built on) is based on facts, knowledge (also historical), self awareness, observation of events, listening carefully what liars are saying in the tv, avoiding idiotic, paranoic, rusophobic propaganda straight from Kiyev, Washington, Brussels, UK, Tel Aviv etc. What you got except your cheap slogans and antihuman way of thinking ?

Russian forces violated the Easter ceasefire proposed by Moscow more than 2,200 times over the past 24 hours, including attacks on medics in the Sumy region and a residential building in Druzhkivka, according to numerous Ukrainian officials’ reports on April 12.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 120 combat engagements took place over the previous day. By 7 a.m. (GMT+2) on April 12, the military had recorded 2,299 ceasefire violations, including 28 assault actions, 479 attacks, 747 strikes by Lancet and Molniya loitering munitions, and 1,045 FPV drone strikes.

In March 2026, seven new towers equipped with Pantsir air defense systems were built around Vladimir Putin’s residence in Valdai.

Radio Liberty reported on this.

The total number of air defense systems around the residence has reached 27.

Satellite images show that construction of the seven towers began on the same day, March 17. Some are already equipped with air defense systems.

As with the Pantsir towers around Moscow, the systems in Valdai are arranged in two rings around the residence — an outer and an inner perimeter.

Drones Strike Key Russian Chemical Plant: Fire Rips Through Cherepovets Facility

map chemical plant.png

A major blaze has erupted at a chemical plant in Cherepovets after what analysts say was a drone strike targeting critical industrial infrastructure. The incident marks a sharp escalation in attacks on Russia’s production capacity as the war’s reach deepens.

Videos circulating online show thick black smoke billowing from the site, raising immediate concerns over both industrial damage and wider environmental risks.

Industrial Target Hit in Night Strike

The facility — part of PhosAgro — produces ammonia and ammonium nitrate, key inputs for fertilisers and explosives. Open-source intelligence analysts say multiple drones struck units linked to ammonia production.

Regional governor Georgy Filimonov confirmed drones were intercepted over the area but did not acknowledge a direct hit or the scale of the fire.

Production Capacity Under Threat

Analysts estimate the damaged units account for roughly 6% of Russia’s ammonia output — a significant figure for both civilian industry and military supply chains.

There are also unconfirmed reports that reinforced ammonia storage facilities were targeted, suggesting attackers are probing deeper into hardened infrastructure.

Pattern of Strikes Expands

The Cherepovets incident follows a spate of recent drone attacks on chemical sites across Russia. Facilities in regions including Voronezh and Samara have reported fires or attempted strikes in recent weeks.

Moscow says it intercepted dozens of drones overnight across multiple regions, including areas near the border and annexed Crimea.

War Reaches Critical Infrastructure

The targeting of chemical plants signals a shift in strategy — from frontline engagements to economic and industrial sites. Disrupting production of dual-use materials could have ripple effects across supply chains and military logistics.

For civilians, the risks are immediate: industrial fires, toxic exposure, and growing instability far from the battlefield. For the Kremlin, the message is clear — no sector is beyond reach.

Ukraine strikes cripple Russia’s Black Sea oil hub as exports choke

images.jpg

Russia’s largest Black Sea oil port is operating under heavy restrictions after Ukrainian drone strikes knocked out critical infrastructure, tightening pressure on Moscow’s energy lifeline. Key loading points at Novorossiysk remain offline, sharply curbing export capacity at a pivotal moment in the war.

Key Berths Silent as Damage Bites

Two major berths at the Sheskharis terminal — crucial for handling large Suezmax and Aframax tankers — are still out of action. Satellite imagery and shipping data show no activity at berths No. 1 and No. 1A following the strikes.

Operations have been reduced to a single functioning berth, limiting throughput to smaller vessels. The bottleneck is already constraining flows from a port that shipped roughly 540,000 barrels per day earlier this year.

Drone Campaign Hits Where It Hurts

The disruption follows a wave of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russia’s oil infrastructure. Fires and explosions were reported at the terminal, with Ukrainian officials claiming multiple berths and pipelines were hit.

The attack forms part of a broader strategy to erode Russia’s export capacity and revenue streams. Each strike compounds logistical strain, forcing costly rerouting and repairs.

Partial Operations Mask Deeper Strain

Some sections of the port remain active, including berths handling refined petroleum products. But the loss of crude-loading capacity is the critical blow, reducing flexibility and slowing overall output.

Industry sources warn that even limited outages at Novorossiysk can ripple through global markets, particularly if repairs drag on.

Pressure Spreads Across Russia’s Export Network

The impact is not isolated. Separate strikes have hit Baltic facilities, including Ust-Luga and Primorsk, triggering temporary shutdowns and fires.

Taken together, the attacks are stretching Russia’s export system across multiple fronts. With infrastructure under sustained threat, the cost of keeping oil flowing is rising — and the margin for disruption is shrinking fast.
