Video shows lethal U.S. missile strike on Venezuela 'drug boat' as Trump reveals 11 Tren de Aragua members were killed

President Donald Trump released a video Tuesday that showed the U.S.'s lethal strike on a vessel involved in the drug trade that was coming out of Venezuela.

In the same Truth Social post, the president revealed that 11 Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists were killed in the attack.

He initially announced the strike from the Oval Office Tuesday afternoon.

'You'll see that we just, over the last few minutes literally shot out a boat, a drug-carrying boat, a lot of drugs in that boat,' Trump told reporters.

The president said he had just been briefed on the matter by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Daniel 'Razin' Caine.

'We have a lot of drugs pouring into our country, coming in for a long time, and we just - these came out of Venezuela. And coming out very heavily from Venezuela, a lot of things are coming out of Venezuela, so we took it out,' Trump added.

These gunboat encounters always remind me of the Gulf of Tonkin "incident(s)".

trump might be looking to wag the dog, so we stop talking about his pal Jeffrey Epstein, or his flagging health.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Show me the tattoos, Donald.

If Americans didn't want nose candy and injectables, there'd be no drug trade.

Prezzie doesn't seem to know it based on his tariffs but trade = goods for money.

Don't recognise the Int'l Criminal Court? Well, they executed Nazis for war crimes.

An amazing array of military hardware used to murder non-combatants illegally.

Unusual Military Escalation

The choice to destroy the vessel outright, rather than seize it and apprehend its crew, stands out as an unusual tactic in U.S. counter-narcotics operations. Traditionally, the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy interdict suspicious vessels, confiscating drugs and arresting suspects. Analysts noted that the strike more closely resembled counterterrorism operations against militant groups.

The incident occurred amid an expanded U.S. military presence in the Caribbean.

Seven warships and one nuclear-powered attack submarine are currently operating in the region, alongside approximately 4,500 sailors and Marines. Assets include the USS San Antonio, USS Iwo Jima, USS Fort Lauderdale, and reportedly USS Lake Erie, USS Gravely, and USS Jason Dunham. U.S. P-8 maritime patrol aircraft have also been flying surveillance missions over international waters.

This boat was more than 1,000 nautical miles from the U.S.A.

It would have had to stop like seven times to refuel to make it to southern Florida.

Aren't you one of the persons often doubting government communications? Why do you trust them now?

Trump Administration Says Boat Strike Is Start of Campaign Against Venezuelan Cartels
The defense secretary and President Trump said a small boat was carrying drugs but offered little evidence and few details.

Sept. 3, 2025

First, the former official said, Tren de Aragua was not known for handling large shipments of cocaine or fentanyl. Instead it was known to focus on smuggling what is known as pink cocaine — a psychedelic substance that is generally made by combining ketamine and MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, a stimulant that can cause hallucinations.

The former official also said it was unusual to have 11 people manning a vessel that could easily be crewed by two or three, especially since traffickers are always trying to maximize the amount of cargo space devoted to carrying drugs, not human beings.

In the former official’s opinion, it was more likely that the vessel was carrying migrants on a human smuggling run. It would be impossible to know for sure, however, given that any evidence of drug smuggling was destroyed in the attack.
