October 21, 2025Oct 21 Please can you outline the requirements for the renewal procedure please? My passport has only about 3 months remaining.
October 21, 2025Oct 21 It's nothing to do the Consular Team. If you're living in Thailand, you complete the application form, copy every page of your expiring passport, and take it, plus any additional documents required to VFS in either Bangkok or Chiang Mai. You have to make an appointment online. It can take anything from 2-3 weeks to 11-12 weeks. https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports Or use an Agent who can do it all for you, for a price.
October 27, 2025Oct 27 4 weeks, 150 quid. Everything here; https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/thailand/renew/adult

October 29, 2025Oct 29 Ok i have now located an agent, did you use your driving licence for this part as everything else on the list will be in Thai and need translated and certified Proof of address in Thailand (lease agreement, utility bill, bank statement, Driving license, etc...) Address must be written in English
