Your suggestion to effectively treat illegal immigrants as inmates of a concentration camp based on Dartmoor might well result in a decrease in the numbers arriving, but it might well also result in individuals freezing to death on a cold December day. I wouldn't want that on my conscience, Jonny, but then I'm just a bleeding-heart liberal not a hard-nosed, selfish individual with no empathy or compassion for his fellow men.
