My friends have a family owned wedding shop on Ko Samui Island. Their specialty is wedding and portrait photography and wedding gown rentals and sales. The wife does bridal and portrait makeup, They can also arrange everything related to your wedding and stay here. They can organize Hotel accommodations, tours and activities, and arrange wedding services for Christians, Buddhists or just informal services. They have wedding gowns (nice ones) in western and Thai styles , and custom made tuxedos and suits. They have wedding packages available for almost any budget. They offer photography services are at a very reasonable price. They will give you high quality and get you a good price on everything; wedding party, flowers, food, wedding cake, and musicians. They can arrange everything for a large number of people, or just two. They would save you a lot of money because they already have all the wedding-related contacts, hotel and tour guide contacts, and will be much cheaper than if you had a hotel arrange everything for you. The photographer can take time with you not only during the wedding, but can photograph some of your honeymoon activities together. These are my close friends. The man speaks English and Thai. He is the tailor and photographer.

Thaivisa forum rules don't allow me to give you their e-mail address on this page. If you can send me a personal message through this forum I can put you in contact with them.

Thanks,

In my experience(including my own wedding) Thai photographers are both very good, very expensive, and very lazy!

We had a small wedding, only around 20 guests, but the Thai photogs i approached (who were well known names) all wanted to take along a second photog/helper). Now, as a photographer myself, i know the value of this, but the location and the number of guests, and the location of the wedding didnt warrant it. They actually said that they needed someone to carry their stuff.

Now, dont get me wrong, what i said above kind of portrays Thai photogs in a negative light, but thats not the case. I know many Thais who are GREAT shooters, but you dont employ a friend to shoot your wedding. We ended up flying in a well known guy from Singapore, putting him up in the same hotel as us, paying all his bills and still paying less than all the Thsi guys wanted.

His results were amazing by the way, but i guess thats why we hired him.
