What I meant was that had Trump attended the hearing, he would have been obliged to comment to the press about the merits of the arguments. If you listen to the oral arguments they involve very esoteric interpretations of constitutional and trade law which there is no way Trump is capable of mastering or speaking coherently about. His lack of command of the underlying legal issues would have become immediately apparent. I was aware that members of the audience, including the President, would not have been given the opportunity to address the court.

This will be interesting and will decide whether the accusations of a corrupt Supreme Court are in fact true.
