December 16, 2025Dec 16 looking to install an electric pump (non automatic) for water tank when we lose water supply any recommendations? thanks
December 17, 2025Dec 17 A good brand is Hicharchi or Mitsubishi. If you go onto the Electrical Forum, one of the pinned topics (I think) should be a diagram of how to connect your water system. Most of us use automatic constant pressure pumps.
December 17, 2025Dec 17 Threads about water pumps are found here or in DIY forum. We have a Mitsubishi WP 255 with pressure tank attached. Pressure tank much recommend to avoid frequent on/off. 255 is the power in Watt. We have a two storey house. If you have a ground floor only, a smaller model might suffice. As above: Hitachi and Mitsubishi are most popular here. Can't do much wrong.

Why would you want to control pump operation manually (if supply water to house when city water off)? Mitsu 255 or 305 is a safe bet. 305 enough for even 3 stories like I'm using
