I resurected an old laptop by having a Solid State Drive installed, and my Linux Mint OS also updated. However, I have lost some previously installed programmes including LibreOffice. The download is sitting in my Downloads file but I cannot find out to get it to install. Request instructions.

Not sure what you mean by sitting in downloads file however have you tried clicking on the software manager and then in search top left look for Libre Office and then install?

What is the download which is sitting in your downloads file.

You might need to clarify this point before anyone might know what you are talking about.

If Libre Office is somehow missing, then just add it back.

The files/documents should still be residing on your computer, in storage.

Going to Pattya area the next few days to source some local restaurant equipment. Among other things I would like to buy a Chicken BBQ Rotisserie or see some locally made up jobs that I can photographe and have it made up. Any ideas where I can find/see any. TIA.

Couldn't find that Ver with my quick skim read check. My system version # seems to be 2025. My updates have mainly come from my visits to the BYD dealer. The mechanic hooks up his computer and updates my system. Last update was Google Maps and a heap of apps. No idea how the OTA updates and the human updates differ but having had experience finding an intermittent computer fault in a Honda I know that the information displayed with the human interface is extensive. (Forget the name of the car interface bus...OBD or something like that...still have the tester).

Foreigners coming to Thailand will pay for the debt and shortage of the Thai Government. Money has to come from somewhere and as the Government is not willing to reform and cut costs, the foreigners have to pay for it. The next that will be done is in a few months complaining that less tourists arrive, and make incentive to attrack more. They have however no idea waht they are doing. The too strong THB, the higher taxes for hotels in Phuket as example, the more expensive airport taxes, the looming 300 THB or more entrance fee... Go on Thailand, you will are already very expensive for tourists and will become even more, so less people are willing to visit you. Don't complain
