Are "mancs" Criminals?

Featured Replies

I'm on another Thailand forum and there is a doozy of a story from a guy who posted his entire criminal proceedings on there and is asking board members to see if they think he is guilty as he goes to trial in 2 weeks.

Turns out he's an 8-time convict, and he himself states that is normal cause he's a "Manc." Says he's on his way back to Chiangmai after he gets acquitted from this case. I think he will also not be found guilty.

I lived in London for a few years, but was some time ago. I never really knew much about the folks from Manchester, but is it really that bad there?

Just curious.

I lived in Manchester for a while but it was not bad then - today I would think it has overtaken Liverpool as the place with a bad reputation for criminal activity.

The image I get now is London is very bad for gun crime - mainly black on black - and if child mortality is anything to go by (and it is) Birmingham has very bad social deprivation.

These are just the images I get from reading the UK press over the www and watching BSkyB to try and keep up with things back home.

i work for a manc based company ,stay there 4 days a month ,never met any criminals while i was out ,its no different from any big city in the uk..

The average Manc is no more a criminal than anywhere else.

I think the guy means thats its normal for a chav muppet to have a string of convictions.
