It's a disaster for the whole world to one extent or another.

The only possible upside to this situation is that it might be the final nail in the coffin of Israeli influence - some might say dominance - of US foreign policy.

Not a chance.

Israeli power is too deeply entrenched in government and media, not to mention well-funded pressure groups that promote the Zionist agenda 24/7.

Another catastrophic war for Israel isn't going to put an end to that.

Only with a fundamental change in American attitudes will there be a beginning toward anything like a return to sanity in US foreign policy.
