Featured Replies

This is to do with the Iranian conflict. But of course this simply further funds the Russian aggression in Ukraine. Really? WTF?

US allows India to buy Russian oil during US-Israel war w...

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gives India a 30-day waiver to buy Russian crude as a "stop gap measure".

Not really surprising. Trump always tries to help his buddy Putin.

Actually, this special operation generates clear benefits for Putin's war in Ukraine!

Less sanctions, higher oil price and less weapons available to Ukraine.

US eases sanctions on Russian oil sales to India - This farcical theatre seems to go on forever.

Not really. If that were the case, then there wouldn't be U.S. imposed sanctions in the first place. When it comes to fossil fuels,American oil interests come first. It's just that in this case, keeping those sanctions in place could actually drive oil prices even higher. Which politically would be a bad thing. So I guess I should amend my comment to politics first, oil second, and russia third.k

Well, from my POV oil prices are shooting up anyway. The US has enough oil, now that Venezuela is allowed to export again.

With easing the sanctions on russian oil, Russia makes more money to terrorize Ukraine.

Politically... Trump doesen't care about that. It's only "I-me-myself".
