At the local Thai post office i was informed they have put a hold, on packages being sent to the USA. I need to send a watch part so the package will be very small. Would anyone know how to get around this issue.

They might let it pass in an envelope with a little tissue around it. I still post envelopes to the USA but my order books have fallen off a cliff. Also experiencing non delivery of items sent obliging me to refund.The tariff calculations are so complicated that they have suspended accepting anything

larger than envelopes. If you live in a big city DHL etc might be a better bet.

This is not only Thailand. Many countries postal services have suspended accepting anything for the USA.

Today at the Ubon post office i asked the lady if Thai post was still on hold for small packages to the USA, after checking the system she informed me EMS is now available. For a small package with only a watch spare part, the cost given was 1.800 Baht. No Air Mail
