Android box problem

Featured Replies

I have a android box H96 Max V56 version 12. Worked fine for years. Now I get a lot of ads. Takes time to get rid of them to watch TV. Is there a way to get rid of the ads.

There is one sure way to get rid of the adds that is to pay for 'premium' 😋

you don't mention how you are viewing content on you box is it via apps ? youtube ?

some shady IPTV pirate service ? more info needed.

Apps were downloaded from their websites.

Yes what apps would they be ??? 🙄

details specifics then maybe someone can answer.

In the meantime you might want to look into host file blocklists

for example.

How you think those free apps get funded? They are not a charity, and need to pay for their servers as well.

You're lucky if it are only ads, because some of them will use your box as a host for DDoS other servers or crypto mining

Spot on.

I avoid apps as much as possible and use the only very slightly 'dodgy' free IPTV streams

for example those found here

I downloaded, Adlock on my box. That got rid of most of the ads. Usually I use Beetv, Film plus, Movie HD. The apps for streaming TV channels in the states. Come up with a error. Those ones are RedBox TV, Rapid Streamz and TVMob Pro. Now I have to find a app that works streaming live TV channels.

Did you pay for adlock? I use adaway.

I live stream channels through a browser. Open tv browser works good and tvpass dot org or thetvapp dot to are the 2 main sources for channels. It's easy to fullscreen the video.

Adlock worked okay. Downloaded it and it was free. Free for the trial version. Then wanted money. Will try Adaway seems to work pretty good.
