Looks like they are building a wall,

If they are building a condo or other large development then there will be a billboard somewhere on the plot

showing the relevant plans and permission...but so far it seems no one has found it.

No go mostly stop, it's almost like they are faking work, pretending to put up concrete posts for a fence

Exactly seems so much overkill for a fence.. The concrete posts are about 5 mtrs, mostly in the ground. NFI what Tis.

Could be a row of shophouses ?

I had heard it's owned by someone we can't talk about on here and after they evicted the squatters the owner is taking possesion of their land back - probably for a fake farm for tax purposes until they decide what to do with it. As a View Talay 2A ownwer I'd like a mall on our doorstep along with a remodlled modern bus station.

You mean more noise +cars and bikes screaming

down Threppasit and up the hill? Plus the Russian

Roulette ' zebra" crossing at the bus station?

I think the original thread on this showed some photos of tree planting which would suggest it's going to be dormant, and the trees just a tax dodge, but also some discussion it's to end up as (partly?) a terminal for the long awaited monorail or somethng similar.

I think the land is too valuable for anything that might be useful like the monorail or bus station. It will have to be something high end.

I am amazed at the time and money spent on the fence.?? foundations, footings etc, (month or more now), and nothing obvious has resulted. A norm boundary fence would be up in a week or 2!

As it's about real estate, there is obviously some scam or crooked stuff going on. Like in every country of the world, where real estate and white collar crime, go together.

its Royal owned land part of the old Dongtan Beach Palace estate ,,
