well i,ll let you know about the lake but i believe theres been plenty of rain. I'm back home in jersey at the moment returning to doi tao end of September to stay permanently cant wait weather has been crap over here this summer. how often do you have thaivisa get together's? was living down south before in satun and Malaysia so don't know anyone in Chiang Mai yet would be good to meet some people.
