Inspiring anti war protest in Philadelphia

Featured Replies

I find it inspiring to witness the protests organized by the principled left. These gatherings consistently emphasize the importance of peace in our society.

Cherry-picking much?

And if you are resolved on cherry-picking, why did you choose such a dumb video?.

Because whoever posted this video is clearly clueless. Forget the fact that no American soldiers were murdered in Iran. Were any American soldiers actually murdered during the course of this war? America launched a war against Iran. Iran fought back. American soldiers were killed. In what court would that be called murder? But if killing a soldier in a time of war is murder, then America has committed it on a far greater scale in Iran.

Who murdered American soldiers in Iran?do you have a link?If you are referring to American combatants killed during retaliatory strikes by the people Donnie’s making war on than your statement of Americans being (murdered)is false.stop being a drama queen.

If Iranian civilians are murdered, it's "Collateral Damage."
If a US combatant gets killed in action, it's Murder.

Most people don't comprehend the information war, they just get sucked into it like Br'ar Rabbit trying to punch the Tarbaby.

Most people are sick and tired of US forever wars. Since I've been born it's one war after another after another after another after another after another after another after another after another.......

And public sentiment is cyclical. During Vietnam, people would spit on soldiers returning from the war. During Desert Storm, people put bumper stickers on their cars supporting the troops. But the public is fatigued with American leadership perchance for War Fever, and now? People feel nothing for those who voluntarily joined the military with the intension of killing people in foreign lands for Uncle Sam. They'll probably get spit on again in some venues. From my perspective they are cannon fodder who are completely ignorant of their role in US power projection for corporate profits and political power. They probably should be pitied. Every kid considering voluntary military service should be handed a copy of MajGen Smedley Butler's "War Is A Racket," before they join. Then if they join, they are doing so with their eye's wide open and I pity them not if they return in a box. And I'm speaking as a US veteran with eight years of service. I earned my right to criticize the US military and US (flawed) foreign policy.
