Going to Pattaya from SUV

Featured Replies

Kind of nervous about taking a crowded bus (pickpockets in Latin America could find your money belt blindfolded) but need to get to Pattaya after the plane lands at SUV. If it's the bus only, I still need details, like times, where to catch it. Thanks for your help.

Why is it is only bus ?

Plenty of taxi services to choose from.

You'll find Thailand is one of the safest countries on the planet.

Just a word of warning, keep alert when around foreigners, protect yourself from some of the foreigners.

If the OP is that worried bout pickpockets get a vest of whatever which has several different closures over the main pocket (e.g. 3 medium size padlocks, one being a complex number based lock and train yourself to keep one hand on the main closure at all times.

Seems you are arriving by aircraft. Where from? Is the departure airport totally safe from pickpockets?

When you go through the final security check, do you have to place all bags etc., in a plastic basket and you lose sight of the platic basket for 10 seconds whilst it's going through the x ray machine and you have to scramble to recover it from a bunch of baskets.

On the aircraft hve you booked a window seat and paid to block the seat alongside yourself so your one body distance away from the next passenger in that row?

Have you though of carrying with you a very minimum amount of cash and searched for banks / money agencies which do eletronic ransfers of csh, hve very good reuputation for funds security and then by email ofwhatever send more funds to your name or on arrival establish a bank account, and do an electronic transfer to yoursel?

Do you havefunds back up in terms of 2 or 3 credit cards / international debit cards?

Hav you considred buyin fake currency to carry with you to Thailand and use in Thailand?

Don't panic now.

?

Very clever mate, disguising your antagonism in another comment.

The OP asked for help with times and locations of buses from the airport to Pattaya, as opposed to a deranged and alcohol fuelled view of foreigners in Thailand.

No grudges on my part.

Help the OP or at least don't waste their time with your inane behaviour.

bus only as opposed to a variety of public transportation (plane, train). I feel that the likelihood of 'problems' is less in a large vehicle among many travelers.

Whatever you feel, the likelihood of problems approaches zero in a taxi service from BKK to Pattaya.

(BKK not SUV, where in the world did you get that abbreviation?) .

Lots of taxi services from BKK to your hotel in Pattaya.

If you are so nervous it is money well spent to take a taxi.
