Roadside Blast Wounds Two Officers in Narathiwat

A bomb attack in Narathiwat injured two police officers as they drove back from investigating a theft case in Rangae district. The explosive device had reportedly been planted by the roadside near Mo Ku We Bridge and was detonated as the police vehicle passed. The blast forced the car off the road and left both officers seriously hurt. They were identified as Police Sergeant Major Samsuri Yako and Police Sergeant Major Nopporn Thitphut, and were taken to Rangae Hospital for treatment. Authorities sealed off the area to inspect the scene and search for those responsible.
