April 5Apr 5 Family aunt (in Chonburi city) wants to give her 8 yr ol Yamaha morotcycle to my 21 yr old granddaughter here in Chiang Mai.Problem is that:The road tax and third pary was paid at purchase and was renewed the next year but only the next year. Both now about 6 or 7 years overdue. Aunty wants to give the m'cycle to my granddaughter as a gift but is not willing to pay to bring the road tax and third party up to date.Aunty totally convicnced it's just a matter of going to the Road Tax office in Chiang Mai and telling them the road tax book and records of third party have been lost. She's adamant that the CM Road Tax office will just sart new records from the day we visit their office.Anothee family member says there'a maximum number of years of road tax / 3rd party insurance the transport ofice can levy to bring it all up to date.Any information on this much appreciated.
April 6Apr 6 I think I heard after 3 years of not paying tax need to get a new green book, only the owner can get it...!
