First, such leaders make their subjects feel righteous, superior to all others. (Note the avoidance of an obvious knee-jerk.) That makes the ‘others’, the ‘outsiders’ worthless, less than human, not deserving of rights or even consideration. ‘They’ are nothing.

What amazes and infuriates me is the fact that anybody can feel they’re better than anyone else. Everyone has a conscience. In my experience, Jews, at least those (knee-jerk ahead) out of Israel show great compassion.

So how can these occupiers (no, they’re not ‘settlers’, they were already settled someplace else), these modern-day Crusaders, inflict this violence on people who don’t trouble them in any way? (Knee-jerk follows.) Do you not find this a pogrom? Have they really buried their sense of right and wrong?

Without a doubt, the historical and contemporary endemic persecution of Jews is undeniable. In more subtle ways today, in shtels in the past. In every case, Jews are regarded as ‘others’.

What made me realise this is that now it has become apparent that not only Palestinian Muslims are being victimised and prevented from freedom to worship. But so are West Bank Christians who have been historically documented there from the first century. Isn’t it obvious these occupiers want to erase the concept of Palestine from the map?

Israel was won by Haganah and Irgun paramilitary terrorists. Not one day since the birth of Israel has this land been free of wars and conflict.

This is the country that made the desert bloom, who encouraged kibbutzim to flourish. And still they want more. There is no concept of enough. Israelis have been born and bred in war. They accept it through their government’s propaganda.

There are even vegetarian villages where no meat or animal products are allowed. They are vegetarian because their ethics do not allow animal suffering and slaughter. So what do they think of the Israeli slaughter?

One does not even need to look closely to see that it’s been Israel that took land from every single one of those wars.

Israel divided Palestine. It decimated Gaza and now it wants to annex the West Bank. While they’re at it, how about some Lebanon? Who’s next?

The inescapable conclusion does not hang by a thread but by a steel cable. Israel wants it all. It really doesn’t matter who they have to kill to get it.

Israel can continue land grabbing, war crimes, drain other nations like America in their war...not due to israel's fault. Israel is plainly doing the dirty work, sometimes at least, that the west never took in their hands.

But Israel gets away with anything while Russia was blacklisted, cut out of the global cheap energy supply by Biden. Mainly to push the world to buy the over costly american shale oil and gas.

It's all politics and none of these nations are better or worse then the other. Israel is getting away with war crimes due to the full scale political support from America. Europe and some nations in Asia this has been going on for decades.

So at the end of the day it is not he who commits the war crimes, It is those who allow them to happen, that are more to blame.

After much self-examination, I have returned to the conclusion that Israel is a theocracy. Sure, it has elections, just as do Russia and Iran. Means nothing.

Of 120 elected Knesset lawmakers, 110 are Jewish, representing Likud, Shas, United Torah Judaism, Religious Zionist Party, Otzma Yehudit, Yisrael Beiteinu, National Unity, Labor, Noam and Yesh Atid. They make the laws and declare wars.

Netanyahu’s 30-member Cabinet is exclusively Jewish, supporting and directing Israel’s wars. Of particular interest is Itamar Ben-Gvir, Minister of National Security, who sponsored the recently passed death penalty bill for Palestinians but not for Israelis.

Otzma Yehudit grew out of the political party, Kach, which was banned in 1994 for terrorism after a massacre in Palestine. Ben-Gvir was Kach’s youth coordinator.

Ben-Gvir is a settler in the Israeli-occupied West Bank whose political background lies in Kahanism—a violently racist movement that supports the expulsion of Palestinians from their lands.

He has a long history of anti-Arab activism, leading to 53 indictments and at least eight convictions of crimes including incitement to racism and support for, as well as possession of propaganda of a terrorist organization (the now-illegal Kach political party). As a lawyer, he is known for defending Jews accused of Jewish extremist terrorism in Israeli courts.

In 2007, however, he was convicted for incitement to racism and supporting a terrorist organization. Following a bombing in Jerusalem, Ben-Gvir had chanted "Death to Arabs" and held signs reading "Expel the Arab enemy" and "Rabbi Kahane was right: The Arab MKs are a fifth column."

Ben-Gvir was radicalised during the First Intifada. He first joined a right-wing youth movement affiliated with Moledet, a party which advocated the expulsion of Arabs from Israel, and then joined the youth movement of the even more radical Kach and Kahane Chai party, which was designated a terrorist organization and outlawed by the Israeli government in 1994. He became youth coordinator of Kach, and claimed that he was first detained at the age of 14.

But their expansionism to dispossess and supplant Palestinians. I am listening to an Israeli's side of the argument, this guy on Youtube.

I will need to watch at least 10-20 of his videos to get a grasp on where he is coming from before formulating an opinion, but I will concede that this problem is probably not one-sided or simple to understand.

I'm not pushing this on anyone. I don't know yet if it's mostly hot air. I haven't watched enough of this channel yet.

Just saying I will be following this channel to see how an Israeli justifies what is taking place there.

After hearing about Israel’s adoption of capital punishment, I set out to learn about the  judicial system in Israel and its impartiality and fairness, particularly in terrorism cases.

Israel is in the minority of democracies that do not allow juries to determine the outcome of criminal trials. There is also no protection from double jeopardy, meaning that any defendant can be tried again and again until the correct result is achieved—conviction..

Judges are appointed by a nine-member Judicial Selection Committee to determine their professional legal expertise.  The committee is made up of three Supreme Court judges, two Cabinet ministers, two Knesset members and two representatives of the Bar Association, all chosen by the President.

As of March 2025, the Bar Association is no longer represented and is replaced by a member of the Knesset “coalition” and a “member of the government”.

As I detailed earlier, with the current composition of the Cabinet and Knesset and a warmonger president, it’s hard to imagine justice to be impartial in Israel.

As Israel has never been able to agree on a Constitution, the courts must rely on the 12 Basic Laws.

However, crimes against humanity, and high treason in times of war, are all punishable by death.

Yeah, thanks. There are regions of AN uncharted by me. I started out posting my more controversial posts--about Jewish Nazi space alien paedophiles-- in Off the beaten track.
