When I turned the ignition on I noticed that the head unit screen (SatNav) was dead and there was an "interrupt" message on the Alpine stereo screen and the CD would no longer play. Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and checked the fuses, but couldn't bring the screen to life.

I would have thought the stereo would still play independent of the head unit, but maybe not.

Anyone have any info or experience with this?
