So the forecast for GDP growth in the US for Q4 has been revised down again to an anemic 0.5%. At the same time Trump and his cabinet members claim they're in a "Golden Age", and that "the US is the hottest country on the planet".😂

"Gross domestic product increased at a downwardly ‌revised 0.5% annualized rate, the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis said in its third GDP estimate. The economy was previously reported to have grown at a 0.7% pace in the fourth quarter. The advance estimate had put GDP growth at 1.4%.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast GDP growth would be unrevised at a 0.7% ⁠rate. Revisions to the fourth quarter's growth pace reflected downgrades to business spending on intellectual products as well as inventories. Growth in consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of the economy, was revised down to a 1.9% pace from the previously reported 2.0% rate."

Meanwhile, Trump and his closest allies are breaking records, right, left and center.

And even the FLOTUS is absolutely cratering. I'm beginning to wonder if this administration will last until 2029. If the Dems win both chambers we might have a Dem president in 2027.

Not that it makes the US figure good, but both the UK (0.1%) & Europe (0.3%) appears to be below this level. Australia is a bit better (0.8%).
