On this one they will keep low profile for as long as then can. They have wives and kids to consider. Probably a few Iranian sleeper agents hiding in plain sight. Eventually they will be interviewed. Of course now just about any information can be bought or sold and I expect one of both the F-15E's crew identities will pop on a website or on a podcast.

That and the crews of all the other aircraft lost (seemingly without loss of life or injury to personnel).

All these things to be hidden indeed sleeper cells, including of course any evidence of sleeper cells.

According to Trump the second airman was seriously injured yet he was able to walk a long distance scale a mountain and hide in a cave untill the cavalry arrive. Just how seriously was he injured ?

Instead of trying to start rumors and circulate unsubstantiated claims, offer some eviudence.

Have you ever considered that the injured may not be in a physical or emotional state to subject themselves to your scrutiny?

Have you considered that that all US serving personnel are targets and that the Iranians would dearly love to kill them. That is why active personnel neither identify themselves by name or show their faces. It's been this way since the Gulf Wars of liberation.

Would not be surprised if they a re holding info about the rescue, pilots and or real casualty info about the conflict in general, until after it is over.

He is awaiting their response for having to pay for that lost aircraft. Before anyone praises DJT on that rescue effort, recall this one: Last April during the DOGE thousands of ex-military fired, and a loan for ex-military housing was dropped by the Trump administration as a money saver of course. Then, Congress in response to thousands of ex-military possibly losing their houses without those loans, unanimously approved the funding for those ex-miliary housing loans and forwarded the bill to the president where it remains, unsigned. Thousands of ex-military have already lost their houses and thousands more have been advised that their houses may also be lost due to non-payment. Just gotta love our most unpatriotic president ever!

Not that I would do it(I am a veteran and respect the privacy of all service members) but the WSO in the F15E Strike Eagle is a full Colonel or Lt Colonel, is qualified in the F15E so a little internet sleuthing could dig out his name. A small number of USAF bases (domestic and overseas) house F15E Strike Eagles units. One of the units based out of RAF Lakenheath in the UK and so on. It is only a matter of time before the names and possilby faces of both FR15E Strike Eagle crewmembers who were shot down will be made public with or without USAF or DOD approval.

There was a photograph doing the rounds of a battered if hunky aviator type chappie (remarkably clean shaven) being hugged by a suitably gung ho special ops type fellow on board a helicopter. I don't know, perhaps it was fake news?

Perhaps more interesting is how they are going to spin any casualties (must have been some) from that airstrip fiasco!

Call me a cynical old so and so ( many have, and they are often right) but I suspect that there was probably only one person on board the F15E; and he was picked up within minutes of the aircraft being allowed to crash.

The search for the missing "second crewman" was a cover story for that air mounted raid in an attempt to seize Iran's uranium stache. That came spectacularly unstuck when the US landed in an extremely well executed Iranian ambush.

Maybe the Iranians had worked out that the airstrip was likely to be used, maybe they had "sussed" the Israeli recce patrol which checked it out, maybe they just got lucky, either way it appears that they made short work of the whole US special forces operation!

I'm no expert, but as an ex artillery man, 5 rounds fire for effect on a linear target such as the airstrip - from one/or several batteries of guns concealed several kilometres away would have done the job pretty quickly.
