Nakhon Sawan: Where's Immigration? How Are They?

Featured Replies

Hello, i might need to go to Nakhon Sawan Immigration to get another month in-country as a tourist (after a 2 months visa waiver, buy 30 days more for 1900 THB). "Nakhon Sawan Provincial Immigration" seems to be in the southwestern urban area of Nakhon Sawan town (here on Google Maps, here on Open Street Maps).

Correct?

I am surprised that "Nakhon Sawan Provincial Immigration" doesn't have one single review on Google Maps. All other upcountry immigrations (in my experience) have a few dozen reviews at least where locals and foreigners tell how they were treated.

Is the location correct? What were your experiences? When I last bought 30 days top-up, I had a TM-30-form from a regular midrange hotel, which was happily greeted by officials. This time I might stay in a small AirBnb or hostel that has a Facebook site at best and maybe doesn't know about forms or doesn't have receipt forms. I wonder if one would still get 30 days top-up without paper proof or an online booking.

Thanks for your experience!

PS.

Aware there's a 90 days visa for tourists, but the requirements are too complicated for me, especially as there's a slight chance I might fly out before 60 days have passed.

Normally not very busy, I’m always in & out within 1 min doing my 90 day. Efficient immigration, somewhat lax in the past although they have now caught up with all the latest rules

Using links in this forum has become useless in a way.

So can't see anything from your post about location.

South west of town sounds good.

Will you drive on your own or taxi?

Need coordinates for navigation device?

It's not a bad sign if there a so few reports about the office.

People tend to report mostly bad experiences/rants.

Hi all, thanks for good input including screenshots! Sorry the links don't work... i inserted them the normal way. Anyway if i want to go there, it is easy to locate on Google Maps - GM obviously has the location that you describe here in your replies.

Not sure. Phitsanulok Immigration has 40 reviews with a very high average of 4,8/5 and accordingly good reports - and my own experience there as a tourist was quite good as well (and i never had terribly bad experiences in a whole range of upcountry immigrations).

FWIW, here is the link to Phi'lok Immigration as linked above spelt out: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jkuxuD5jbt2juFL96
