Eman Bacosa Pacquiao has dismissed the prospect of facing his half-brother, Jimuel Pacquiao, in a boxing match. In an interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on April 16, 2026, Eman clarified that he had no intention of fighting Jimuel in the ring, citing family bonds over competition. “He’s my brother, there’s no joy in winning or losing against a sibling,” Eman said, further indicating that their father, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, would also disapprove.

The discussion about a potential bout between the Pacquiao brothers surfaced after both scored knockout victories in separate matches. Eman defeated Indonesian boxer Reynold Kundimang in February 2026, while Jimuel secured his first professional win against American Darrick Gates on April 4. This success sparked social media interest in a face-off, dubbed "Pacquiao vs. Pacquiao," but Eman’s comments have put those rumors to rest.

Eman, who gained recognition after participating in the notable Thrilla in Manila 2.0 in October 2025, emphasized his unwillingness to cause distress to their father by competing against Jimuel. Born to Manny and Joanna Rose Bacaso, Eman became more widely known following his significant ring victory. Despite rumors, Eman stated warmly, “I really love you, kuya!” showing no sign of rivalry.

Those close to the family indicate there is no ill will from Jinkee Pacquiao, Manny's wife, toward Eman. Reports suggest she has embraced Manny’s son, even encouraging support for his boxing matches. The supportive family dynamics further diminish any likelihood of a Pacquiao brother bout in the future.
