Donald Trump claimed a US destroyer intercepted the cargo ship after it allegedly tried to evade a naval blockade.

According to Trump, the vessel — identified as the Touska — was stopped after US forces “blew a hole in the engine room,” before Marines boarded and took control.

There is still no confirmation on casualties, and US Central Command has offered limited detail on the incident.

Iran’s military command reacted within minutes, accusing Washington of violating the ceasefire and escalating tensions deliberately.

Even though Iran had agreed to a ceasefire, and even though they had agreed to reopen the Strait, which would have helped to normalize the economy, he continued his chaotic reign by threatening to block Iranian ships. He just can't help himself the man hates the idea of peace and seems to love the idea of war, which is likely in keeping with his internal mental turmoil.

He also seems desperate to prove himself a man which he is not. He is a weak coward, pretending to be a tough guy.

What he is doing is likely illegal and one can only hope that eventually he will face some sort of war crimes tribunal.

Yes, the mighty US marines blew a hole in a civilian ship and bravely stormed aboard amid threats of - nothing, American flags a-waving by the dawns early light. It embarrases me as an American to see the reputation of our marines stained by allowing themselves to act on Trump's demented orders. Semper Fi. Faithful to what? They're supposed to be faithful to the constitution, same as ICE and law enforcement. Trump owns them all. Ugh. Makes me want to puke. Wake me when it's over.

It's market manipulation Monday. People are getting wise to Trump's constant announcements, so he has to up the ante so his cronies can make more money.
