Police in Lao Cai province, Vietnam, recently responded to several incidents involving injured foreign tourists. On April 19, an accident occurred in Y Ty Commune where Albert, a Spanish tourist born in 1993, lost control of his motorbike due to heavy rain, dense fog, and low visibility. Authorities promptly provided aid and transported him over mountainous terrain to Lao Cai General Hospital No.2, where he is now stable.

Prior to this, on April 17, police in Ban Ho Commune attended to two South African tourists, Nathanael John and Rozelema Van Der Merwe, who were injured while sightseeing. They were found with multiple injuries and required immediate first aid. The challenging terrain necessitated police assistance in safely transporting the tourists to Lao Cai General Hospital No.4 for further care.

The local police's quick actions underscore their dedication to ensuring tourist safety amidst challenging weather and terrain. These efforts reflect the authorities' commitment to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for visitors in Lao Cai.
