"Big Brother" is getting bigger.

Big brother is getting bigger.

Big brother is aiming for the ultimate "tool of control": Eliminating cash as a method of payement completely.

It doesen't seem to bother people too much. It should!

Because: If Big Brother knows where and when you bought your Broccoli, something called like "privacy" will be gone. Only the completely "transparent citizen" will remain.

It has been established in China already. Do we want this in "the West"?

The right to pay with Bank Notes (annonimous "bearers" of the note) is the last bastion of defense, against Big Brother and other data-collectors to retain the rest of unrestricted/uncontrolled privacy that we have left.

Big brother getting bigger ?

I though this would include using AI to further

surveil and control you.

Not just that but the newest AI is putting your bankaccount

into danger. Just one of the links about it :

More reason to keep cash.

Yes it's absolutely essential to keep using cash.

The Canadian trucker protest should have been a warning.

The government plays a vital role in our society and is essential for maintaining services that benefit us all. Funding the government requires significant financial resources, which is why it is important for everyone to contribute their fair share. To ensure that every citizen fulfills their obligation, the government needs to have access to your financial records and transactions. This transparency helps guarantee that our collective investment in public services is fair and effective for everyone.

Yes very funny @nick supreme

So the govt would know every time you bang a hooker?

how does that work?

They already know. They're tracking your cell phone GPS. And hers. (Or his. I don't judge)

I really don't think there's an army of govt people tracking every move you make.

There simply isn't the resources for it nor the need for it.

They only start tracking people if they under the suspicion of criminal activity.

There are AI cameras, but they are probably programmed to search for specific faces of people they are looking for. overstayers ...

Do you really think all those $100 billion data centers are for AI to answer silly questions on the interwebs?

They plan to track everyone, all the time. No people needed...

Thanks in large part to Palantir, strong supporters of current administration and a contributor to its vanity projects.

I have some sad news for you. The government has outsourced this surveillance to Palantir, a private corporation.

I think our RW posters don't need to worry! 😂

Let's see who's behind Palantir:

"Musk’s so-called “department of government efficiency” (Doge) was behind Palantir’s selection. At least three Doge members had worked at Palantir, the Times reported, while others had worked at companies funded by Peter Thiel, an investor and a founder of Palantir, who still holds a major stake in it.Thiel has worked closely with Musk, who devoted a quarter of a billion dollars to getting Trump re-elected and then, as head of Doge, helped eviscerate swaths of the government without congressional authority.

Thiel also mentored JD Vance, who worked for Thiel at one of his venture funds. Thiel subsequently bankrolled Vance’s 2022 senatorial campaign. Thiel introduced Vance to Trump and later helped Vance become his vice-presidential pick.

Thiel also mentored the billionaire David Sacks, who also worked with Thiel at PayPal. As a student at Stanford University, Sacks wrote for the Stanford Review, the rightwing student newspaper Thiel founded as an undergraduate there in 1987. Sacks is now Trump’s “AI and crypto czar”.

Hey all those with nothing to hide.

https://theautowire.com/2026/04/20/every-new-car-could-become-a-surveillance-machine/

By 2027, every new car sold in the United States could be required to actively monitor the person behind the wheel. That means watching your eyes, tracking your behavior, and constantly evaluating whether you’re alert enough to drive. For a lot of drivers, that starts to feel less like safety and more like surveillance.

Eye on the wrong ball.

‘Big Brother’ isn’t the Government, it’s a small number of tech giants, and they are pouring billions into the pockets of politicians.

Once they control your money, they control where you can spend it, what you can spend it on, and if you can spend it at all.

Examples: Can only spend in approved shops, cannot be spent on alcohol, or sugary drinks.

Been a naughty boy? Limit on what you can withdraw for a month, and can only spend within one mile of your home..

Gov't can take what they feel you owe them when they want, (already partially in play), and definitely no more buying illegal substances.

Women could always go out and earn their own money.

Went to China a few years back, less surveillance than the UK. Nobody appeared to care where I went or what I did.

I was quite surprised!

That's completely different from the MSM spin. Love it, THANKS

Another 'I didn't personally experience it, so therefore it can't be true' logical fallacy.

And don't get me started on your typical mysoginistic 'Women could always go out and earn their own money.' The advert is talking about abusive men controlling their womens' finances - INCLUDING when they earn it themselves.
