Most Dangerous Places in the U.S. in 2025-2026

Crime rate can be one of the deciding factors of where families settle down. Based on each city's murder and property crime rates per 100,000 people, determined by FBI crime reports, these are the most dangerous places to live in the United States.

10 cities on the U.S. News most dangerous places ranking (as of the latest data) currently have Dem affiliated mayors (or mayors elected in heavily Dem strongholds, even if the election is officially nonpartisan).

  1. Memphis, TN:

  2. Oakland, CA:

  3. St. Louis, MO:

  4. Baltimore, MD:

  5. Detroit, MI:

  6. Alexandria, LA:

  7. Cleveland, OH:

  8. New Orleans

  9. Monroe, LA:

  10. Pueblo, CO

Regressives are just bad people. Bad genes.

but then there's this from Newsweek:

In general, people living in states that voted Democratic in 2020 tend to live longer than those in their Republican-backing counterparts. Of the top 10 U.S. states by life expectancy, only one, Utah, backed Trump in 2020. The top 10 states, in order, are: Hawaii, Washington, Minnesota, California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, Vermont, Utah and Connecticut.

....AND....

By contrast, of the 10 states with the shortest life expectancy, only New Mexico voted for Biden in 2020. The other nine are: Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma and South Carolina.

Another tie to Dem's, Systemic progressive initiatives is the cause. Keep votin the left and you get the hell hole effect. In the beach communities the authorities have to survey the toilets cause at times they are occupied for hours at a time.

If you drill down, you'll find that the murders are happening predominately in Dem run areas, even if the rest of the state votes Red.

They dont. They refuse to admit that their Socialist polices have created a generation of criminals that they allow to run wild.

The criminals are socially friendly in the yes of the socialists, of course. Victims of explotiation.

LOL .... are you attempting to say that easy access to firearms is not a factor when someone chooses suicide by gun?

When the administration's federal LE wants to target a area for "everything illegal" , ie,drugs, fraud, criminal illegals, illegal guns. drug smugglers, the progressives complain.

All Red States. In fact, maybe that is why they call them Red...all the blood.

By the way, have you seen all the crimes those committed by the "pardoned" 6 January 2021 terrorists? Lots of child molestation, kiddie porn. Apparently they, like their cult leader (alleged), like to diddle kiddies.

Data works both ways. The Afro American population component of the USA is approx. 12.5% of the population.

The cities listed have high Afro American populations. For example Memphis is 63% Afro American.

The states you list, also have higher than average populations of Afro Americans. Texas has the largest population of Afro Americans in the USA. For example , District of Columbia: ~43%, Mississippi: ~38%, Louisiana: ~33%, Georgia: 32%, North Carolina: ~22%.

If you want to play with the data, once can say that there is a link between having large numbers of Afro Americans and the local murder rate. It is not a politically correct statement, but it does reflect the data. There may be underlying factors such as poverty, mental health etc., but the the data still supports the conclusion.

Ashville ,NC , transformed into another Dem hell hole, all caused by systemic progressive initiative after another .

“That plan and subsequent plans have failed with equal enthusiasm. Homelessness, drug abuse, and related crimes have increased relentlessly under the watch of local homelessness experts and a governing body that is dominated by liberal Democrats and those with an even more extreme view to the left. That lack of balance — the last conservative on the council was in 2009 — has led to a myopic repeat of errors.”

Trump isn't even in the same league of corruption as LBJ. I never met the man, but I knew a lot of people in Texas that did know him personally.

He was a corrupt, racist, uncouth piece of work, masquerading as a social justice warrior. IOW, a quintessential Democrat.

Compared with white men, the researchers found that black men experienced 27 more firearm homicides per 100,000 people annually nationwide (29.12 for black men vs. 2.1 for white men). The states with the highest rates of firearm homicide among black men in the data – namely Missouri, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana – also had the largest disparities between blacks and whites, the researchers found.

So in the most deadliest state, you would have a ... wait for it

.... 0.0237% chance of getting murdered. Of course that goes up or down, depending where in that state you live.

Deadliest city, Jackson, MS, for murder, and your chances increase to 0.053% A 32% drop from 2019, a work in progress.

  • Proportion of State Murders: Jackson's high violent crime rate means it consistently contributes over 50% of the state's total murders.

  • 2025 Trend: Homicides dropped significantly to 63 in 2025, which was the lowest number since 2017. (source Google AI)

SCARY STUFF cheesy

No wonder I never needed my firearm when carrying.

So everyone isn't walking around the USA shooting each other. How could MSM get it so wrong coffee1

Spent sometime in the nearby community of Little Switzerland, 48 miles from Ashville . Lovely mountain scenic area. I participated in a 3 week course on Mining & jewelry artisan lessons . I was transitioning from teamster Truck driver to jeweler/craftsman.
