California Governor Race Poll Shows GOP Leading

Featured Replies

There's hope yet for Calif. It would be pretty neat to have a GOP governor once again. I'm still looking forward to riding the high speed rail system.

A few democrats need to drop out. The field is way too crowded.

We have done well under both party’s leadership whoever wins is fine with me as long if he or she isn’t a trumpist……there’s a difference. As long as government is functioning there’s checks and balances.the problem comes when someone is granted immunity from prosecution and works outside of the rules.

This is terrible news. How could anyone vote for the GOP after many years of successful leadership from the Democrats? Over the past decade, they have made significant progress in addressing homelessness and building high-speed rail. The best candidate is Katie Porter. It's time for a woman to take the helm in California. We need to support a strong woman for a more diverse future.

Im here now . Tom Styer is a billionaire who supports taxing billionaires. He's also gona fix the homeless crisis by forcing them into emergency living spaces(something already been tried unsuccessfully. He also would ban ICE despite it be unconstitutional .

My wife number one fascination is the Caucasian homeless, as she watches them on the meridian islands in the intersections ,as they do their afternoon nod while holding up signage.

Very seldom do you see minorities on the islands unless they're drug induced.

Why not Matt?

How's the high speed rail looking in your neck of the woods. sarcasm. Building a huge warehouse type facility for homeless should have been done years ago. Problem is too many upstanding civil servant's jobs rely on the homeless numbers. Solve the problem and they're out of work.

LA taxpayers shell out $418 million a year on handouts for the homeless. Los Angeles isn't ending homelessness — it's financing it, spending $418 million in 2025 with just 10% of that going toward getting people permanently off the streets.

Nick Shirley's in town chasing down fraud. For some reason the good folks of Callie doesn't like it. 5555

The California High-Speed Rail is a massive, multi-billion dollar infrastructure project designed to connect San Francisco and Los Angeles in under three hours, with trains traveling over 200 mph. Currently under construction, the project has faced significant delays and budget increases, with the first 119-mile segment in the Central Valley (Bakersfield to Merced) expected to be operational by 2030–

If you're unaware of the geography of Calif. That's a train ride from nowhere to nowhere. That's moronic.

Nearly two decades since the start of the project, no track has been laid, and the only major visible progress is on a Central Valley segment between Bakersfield and Merced, according to the report. The project's earliest projected opening is now 2033, far later than originally promised.
