Yamaha Excitor rear sprocket

Featured Replies

Please forgive me if this has been previously answered. I have 2 bikes, an Excitor 150 and a Honda CB500X. I've found myself riding the Yamaha more often. I've installed a 7l fuel tank, rear box and a front light bar set. I definitely need a suspension upgrade. I was thinking about a very slightly smaller rear sprocket to make the speedo a bit more accurate and also attempt to reduce the RPM a bit at cruise. My question is, can. I increase the HP a bit to offset the deficit I'll get with the larger rear sprocket by improving the air filter and exhaust or should I just leave it be? If yes, what upgrades are recommended?

Thanks all

Jerry
