So, it seems Iran has yet again been badly underestimated. According to this report, not only can Iran keepgoing for several more months before running into serious economic hardship, but that it also retains a lot of its prewar military hardware like launchers, drones and missiles. Like, a lot.

'U.S. intelligence says Iran can outlast Trump’s Hormuz blockade for months. A confidential intel community assessment delivered to the WH also finds that Iran retains a substantial missile and drone arsenal.'

"A confidential CIA analysis delivered to administration policymakers this week concludes that Iran can survive the U.S. naval blockade for at least three to four months before facing more severe economic hardship, four people familiar with the document said, a finding that appears to raise new questions about President Donald Trump’s optimism on ending the war.

The analysis by the U.S. intelligence community, whose secret assessments on Iran have often been more sober than the administration’s public statements, also found that Tehran retains significant ballistic missile capabilities despite weeks of intense U.S. and Israeli bombardment, three of the people familiar with it said.

Iran retains about 75 percent of its prewar inventories of mobile launchers and about 70 percent of its prewar stockpiles of missiles, a U.S. official said. The official said there is evidence that the regime has been able to recover and reopen almost all of its underground storage facilities, repair some damaged missiles and even assemble some new missiles that were nearly complete when the war began."

It seems that someone wants to make sure this report won't be buried! 😃

This Intel is contrary to the hopes and dreams of Trump's efforts to accommodate his financiers but is also backed by various opinion including those providing counter propaganda on behalf of Iran.

A singular factor in the miscalculation by those who encouraged this fiasco of a war is that the Iranian population and the theological Leaders are an intelligent devout people who have across multiple generation been subjected to Western sanctions in retaliation for defying external dictate in efforts to re-establish asset stripping and territorial subjugation since the outing of the "Shah".

Despite draconian sanctions over times Iran has demonstrated a resilience and capacity to develop defensive reserves on a scale deemed essential to continue to preserve National identity despite massive external threats on supposed and contrived claims of existential threat! That capacity has extended where possible to supplying fellow victim territories with armaments in the efforts to repel domination. These territories were never "proxies" but now have reached their own capacity to become allies.

Sycophantic "Nations" are now becoming aware of reality and have moved toward revealing the false promises of safety and rejecting the presence of the fair weather friend !

The UAE is currently being subjected to the result of prostitution for prolific paper dollars rapidly becoming useful to departing population as toilet tissue.

From the linked WaPo via archive report ON THE RECORD:

“All it takes is one drone to hit a ship and no one will give insurance” to the oil tankers, said Danny Citrinowicz, a senior researcher at the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies.

Citrinowicz, a former head of the Iran branch in Israeli military intelligence, said that even if the blockade lasted several months, it would not force the regime to bend to Washington’s demands. “The problem is they don’t think they need to capitulate,” he said.

“What started as a war supposedly aimed at toppling the regime and dismantling its nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities,” Citrinowicz posted Wednesday on X, “may instead leave Iran’s regime stronger than before — empowered by sanctions relief, still retaining significant missile capabilities, continuing support for its proxies, and almost certainly preserving uranium enrichment on its own soil.’’

Everything about this war reeks of way too much chest thumping, not enough introspection, reflection, study of history, and understanding one's own limits.

Surely there must have been a few people that realized the Strait would end up closed. And for that reason alone Trump should have said absolutely not to the crazed and maniacal little Bibi. But he went along with the plan and he consistently shows a tremendous degree of ignorance and incompetence as a commander in chief.

Iran is not the danger now, Donald Trump is the biggest danger right now. And he needs to be stopped ASAP.
