Thai superstar Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal has been officially announced by FIFA as one of the headline performers for the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States. The ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles and will combine football, music, and culture as part of the tournament’s opening celebrations. Lisa will perform alongside international names including Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Rema, and Tyla, with more artists expected to be announced later. FIFA said the performances are intended to help shape the musical identity of the tournament through large-scale productions. Thai PBS reported that Lisa is expected to become the first Thai artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.
