Foreign Rider Criticised Over Damaged Rental Motorcycle in Phuke

A foreign motorcyclist, believed to be Russian, drew heavy criticism after footage showed him damaging a rented motorcycle during an off-road riding attempt in Phuket. The video showed the rider using what appeared to be a Yamaha NMAX on a dirt track, even though the motorcycle was not designed for off-road use. He tried to ride up a steep rocky hill but failed, before losing control and sending the motorcycle tumbling down the slope. Parts of the bike were seen breaking off in the footage, while other foreign riders watched nearby. Online commenters accused him of reckless behaviour and called for police to identify the rider, though no official action had been announced at the time of the report.
