Can't reset 90 day online password

Featured Replies

Hi

I have seen previous posts about people not being able to use the 90-day online system because it says the password has expired.

I am also getting the same message telling me my password has expired and to check my email.

Again as per previous post I have not received anything in my email following this password expiry message despite several attempts to log in with the correct password.

The solution in previous posts was to reset the password but I have tried to do that also several times and still have not received any email to allow me to reset my password. Nothing in junk mail folder.

So right now I have no way to log into the 90-day online system using my original password or being allowed to create a new password.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than suggesting I go in person which I know is the default solution but I'm looking for an online solution if possible.

Thanking you in advance for your help with this issue.

Have you checked your email spam folder for the reset password email?

Hi

Yes. I just edited my original post to include that I have checked the junk photo also

Try calling your local immigration office and see if they can bird dog the problem for you.

Hi. I did call them but they just said if you can't do it online then I must come in. So unfortunately no technical help available.

It seems like the system isn't actually down but I just can't log in to use it as I have many times previously.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. This is the thread that I originally read and the solution was to reset the password.

But that is where I've hit the wall because I'm not receiving the reset email. So stuck right now apart from having to go in my person every 3 months.

As author of the linked thread I would say my problem was different.

I was unaware, or had forgotten about, the requirement to change passwords after a while ( length unknown ) and trying to log in didn’t give me any indication that this was necessary ( until i had changed password and logged in 🤦‍♂️).

Once others had suggested i should try the “ forgot password “ button then it worked.

Unfortunately i don’t have any online solutions or suggestions for you.

These glitches appear from time to time at different IO’s and sometimes are miraculously rectified without explanation, for example after i changed my passport i was unable to use online reporting twice before it became available to me on the third attempt some 9 months after changing passport !!

Sorry for stating the obvious but if immigration has already suggested you visit in person then i don’t see any other options at this point in time.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I've just left immigration. I had to do the 90 day manually which was fine.

After finishing I explained why I couldn't do it online. They asked me to try again with my original password and then trying forgot password both of which didn't work. Then they suggested I do a new application with a different email and new password which I did and it allowed me to finally log in. It was too late to do the 90 day again but hopefully I can use the new email address next time.

So in summary the solution is make a new application with new email if you get stuck like I was.

Thanks for the replies.

Was thinking that would work.

Hopefully the glitch you has is rare.

Others have had no problem when prompted to renew password.

Your next online should be no issue

I have been up and down the login and password road for the last f ew years - since returning on a re- entry basis. Sometimes my online 90 day is accepted and sometimes it is not. I screenshot my last application which as I expected was refused. A we have received your application email arrived. Checking on the application I saw a big red X. Shortly after an email saying report immediately- yes, immediately - to Immigration arrived. After making a photocopy of everything including the reminder that my 90 day would soon be due it was off to Immigration with passport and photocopies. After peering at his computer screen and the photocopues the officer said "There is nothing wrong ." After which I was given my 90 day stamp. My conclusion is that even though I obtained my 90 day at the Immigration office upon my return in 2024 somewhere in the computer there is the belief that I am on a long overstay. I have kind of accepted the inevitable.

After reentry to Thailand the report cannot be done online.

You need to report in person or via mail.

Indeed here is message you receive when rejected.

I got one recently

"Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately."

This is correct. Just create a new profile using a new email address.

I did mention that upon my return to Thailand I obtained my 90 day at Immigration being aware that the first report after re-entry must be done in person. That apart I see the advice that a different email address might work. Will the fact that Immigration sends its reminders to my present email address clash with my reporting from a new address to which I presume a reminder will be sent also?

Did you ever receive a reminder after an in person report? I only ever did after a successful online report. That being the case you shouldn't get any reminder until you successfully manage a new online report, with either your old or new login details.

No . I never did successfully manage an online report since reporting back to Immigration when I returned in December 2024 but the reminders arrived every time. I have read the instructions ticked the small box and used their calenders rather than typing in dates etc but still the big red X next to the application. As mentioned previously I showed the officer screenshot photocopies before and after sending to no avail but still the Immigration officer tells me that nothing is wrong. Inshallah!
