If you're already in Thailand its a PIA and wouldn't try without an agent

If not in LOS its a straight forward online application

Incorrect.

https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/page/spouse-and-family-visa

Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB (£1,000) or having the current balance of 400,000 THB (£10,000), e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings
- Applicant’s recent official UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, address (Screenshots are not accepted). For monthly income of last 3 months no less than £1,000/ month.

The current advise is to obtain the Non O visa in your home Country before entering Thailand.
You apply online via the evisa site https://www.thaievisa.go.th/

In the visa categories choose 'Staying with Family', then 'To stay with Thai family residing in Thailand (more than 60 days) https://www.thaievisa.go.th/visa/non-immigrant-o

Where are you?

I have just received mine, having applied in the UK less than 2 weeks ago.

A very straightforward online process (the ONLY option in the UK), after 3 days I had a request for 3 months bank statements, which I duly uploaded and that was it.
