ระยอง

google maps link is:

You need to search for "pattaya in thailand" by entering it in search box given at that webpage.

thanks,

Neha khanna.

This appears to be a typographical error for ชลบุรี Chonburi, which is the name of the province containing Pattaya/Phatthaya. (Any dispute over the latter can be cut short by saying that 'Pattaya' is the name in English, just as the English name of Moskva in Russia is Moscow.)

You have taken on an impossible job. I don’t know Greek and therefore I would never take the job of translating Greek map locations.

Machine translation will not work. Literal transliteration will not work. You will need detailed existing maps giving the names in Thai and English, and when you get two or more different maps for the same area you will find two or more different English names for many Thai names, eg Chiangmai, Chiang Mai, Chiengmai, Chieng Mai; Sathorn Road, Sathon Road; etc.

My best guesses:

1. Chonburi (ชลบุรี) (Province)

2. Rayong (Province)

3. Amphur Banglamoong (in Chonburi)

This could become a useful learning game! Got any more? :o

Bambi provided all that is necessary short of somebody else doing all the work (allowing for the fact that Thai city names are spelled arbitrarily in English by most Thais like Maestro said - however, there is a standard form which is the one given by the RTGS).

The Wikipedia link has the provinces in both Thai and English writing, and thai2english.com can transcribe Thai words into Roman letters well enough to understand what they are... provided they are spelled correctly.
