Last baby boomer is 62 now , so he isn't one.

He looks 72

He a Gen-Xer.

I blame the grudge rock music.

I blame Seattle for promoting such insolence among 90s youth.

Looks older than 62

He's in the oldest cohort from the so called Gen Xers - b. 1965-81, give or take - so he might be 61?

Nobody cares about Gen X anyway.

It's all Boomers and Milennials now.

This current Generation is WEAK

You only have to look at this generation of Police officers who most are on workers compensation in Australia because someone abused them

They say half of Victoria Police in Melbourne are on workers compensation leave

This generation can't handle shift work

They have umpteen sick days from work

I haven't had a sick day in years !

They can't handle it

WEAK generation

If he is claiming to be 61 or younger, like I said earlier...... poor guy look like he's has had a hard life.

I don't give a toss so can't even be assed to watch the video.

I'm 70 and look at least 5 years younger than him.

Yes, the guy definitely looks a bit older than his age, but that isn't so much what grabbed me.

What strikes me about his videos and why I posted this topic is the glaring disconnect between his philosophical messages and his actual delivery, especially when he tries to play it as if he is the worldly sage.

He wants us to believe he has reached a state of serene, self-contained peace and enlightenment, but beneath the rhetoric of reclaiming his sanity, he sounds distinctly pissed off.

It feels less like a detached, insightful philosophy on aging and more like the defensive posture of someone who has been burned or taken advantage of one too many times by friends, family, and society.

He talks about being entirely comfortable in his isolated world with just his wife, but the aggressive, bunker mentality tone suggests otherwise. True indifference is quiet, whereas this feels like an angry reaction to a lifetime of bad emotional and relational investments.

Agreed, if he really had Zened out and didn't give a toss then he wouldn't be making and posting videos

I agree. If he truly had his life dialed in and felt completely content in his isolated world, he would have no need to broadcast it. Now, if he had actually achieved genuine peace and wanted to share that wisdom to help others, making videos would make sense. Instead, what we get comes across as a passive-aggressive rant. It feels less like an act of mentorship and more like he is using an audience for cathartic relief to finally vent his frustrations.

Georgenta, girlfriend, no doubt, strong assessment there, hun.

Good thing we still have your elite standards for endurance to guide us.

Few people understand the discipline required to handle a mop bucket full of dirty sanitarium latrine water for hours without needing an oxygen tank and collapsing into statistical breakdown.

Most of us would call it cleaning.

You call it field conditioning.

Police officers clearly need to study your methods. A lot to learn from a full time mop wringer.

Less workers compensation.

More bucket based resilience training.

Truly a strong generation benchmark, sister.

I guess us 1950 babies must be the Invisible Generation!

I think I've never given a toss--when in that sense, I've had a toss with many!

My motto is: "Eff 'em if they can't take a joke!" Many have no sense of humour at all.

I care about Gen X, I'm a Child of 1966 who got to watch England win the world cup at 178 days old, then got to watch the moon landing at 1,264 days old.

Yeah, we live in a pretty stiff world these days. I think the bigger problem is that people take themselves a bit too seriously. If people could laugh at themselves, and accept a bit of humility, it would make a world of difference.

The jeep puttering around in the NASA sandbox that became a global phenomenon.

Have you heard Shaquille O'Neal on how he knows the earth is flat? Brilliant!

I love you Boy George. And thank you for the latest nail polish photos you sent me. Great choice of colors. Matches perfectly with your pink yoga pants and Chang singlet. ❤️
