Car camera

Featured Replies

Any votes on the most professional car camera installer in Chiang Mai?

My car comes with a curtain for the rear window, which is why the dealer didn't install the rear camera. But by now smaller cameras that do not obstruct curtain movement must have been introduced.

Which is why I need someone experienced who is familiar with newer model cars.

I had gone to one based on Google reviews - but he knew nothing and even tried to make me accept his installation even though the curtain was hitting the camera!

It has become essential because of the jerks who tailgate, especially on the highways.

Curtains? In a car?

Was wondering about that too. Maybe the tailgaters are just trying to get a better look at what they don’t believe what they see.

There must be a business opertuntity somewhere for automatic curtains for cars and trucks. Park up push the button curtains close ..no more need for the drive in curtain motels 😋

They could also help keep the car cool when parked up less UV damage too.

OK but my son's Hyundai Family van has / had curtains all round except the windscreen.

Son's wife insisted on all curtains being used all the time including the 2 curtains which cover the glass in the drivers door, making it impossible to see any oncoming traffic on the drivers right side.

Son explained to his wife you cannot use the curtains on the drivers side door, way too danger - driver cannot see if there's oncoming traffic on the right hand side. Eventually the penny dropped and she realized the danger and at the next maintenance visit she told the mechanic to remove the curtains, the tracks etc., on that door.

But her loud mouth know all lady boy big brother was in the car and he told the mechanic 'leave the curtains and lock the curtain the in closed position (curtain extended to cover the whole window) because it makes the van look more beautiful'.

My son arrived just as his loud lady boy BIL was telling mechanic to lock the curtain in curtain fully extended position.

Son explained to his BIL 'that position causes danger'. Lady boy cannot drive and doesn't want to learn (he arrives at wherever chauffered by a family member <me sometimes and he then tells his LB friends that his driver today is a doctor Ph.D. holder> or a taxi and believes this raises his status with his friends. He's engrossed with his status.

Son took the curtain down and threw it away.
