There's no doubt that the blowback from Trump campaigns are going to be intense and his family are going to suffer much. Let us hope that begins soon. He "accepted it on behalf of the American people", but of course it not only goes with him to his "private library" when he leaves office, NOBODY is so naive or 'dum' to think he doesn't plan on using it for personal travel. Well, maybe some MAGA cultists are that "dum".

It its pre-released form it cost the US Taxpayer an additional $400 million for a paint job plus, but to bring it up to spec for a proper AF1 will cost an additional $1 billion, fitting it with proper secure communications and anti-missile defense. Not sure if all of that has to be removed---again, at a cost to the US Taxpayer---when Trump leaves office.

So the financial corruption is 'plane' to see. But wait...there's more!

When Trump lied about sending it to US bases so servicepeople can gawk at it (as if it's more impressive than an F-35, rather than just a different paint job on something anybody can see visiting any major airport), and thus had the old AF1 sent out to take him back from Turkey, something smelled fishier than one of Trump's Filet-o-Fish from Macs he has put on his planes. Reporters asked questions. Reporters then got the obvious answers: the plane was not actually secure. Of course some WH sycophants claimed it was secure, a lie obviated by the fact it's now out of service while Trump said it's being "maxxed out" (i.e., brought up to secure specs).

So Trump then had his acting AG Todd Blanche issue subpoenas to 5 journalists and some of their families to try to get members of the supposedly free press (1st Amendment) to reveal their sources. The AG had to withdraw the subpoenas when judges argued they violated the law and Constitution.

"The plane the plane" thus shows both abject corruption and attempts to subvert the US Constitution, which is to say, it's quintessential Trump in every way.
