Intoxicated Delivery Rider Rescued from Khon Kaen Water Tank

A heavily intoxicated man was rescued after climbing into a 500-litre water tank and falling asleep while standing inside it in Khon Kaen. Residents discovered him behind a property on Phimphasut Road at around 6 am on July 2, with only his head visible above the rim. Rescue workers drained the water and carefully tilted the tank sideways after the unresponsive man eventually regained consciousness. He reportedly told officers that he had been drinking at a party before climbing over a fence, removing the tank’s lid and getting inside. The property owner said the unusual episode could easily have ended in tragedy if he had lost his balance and drowned.
